Jackie Quinn
Jackie Quinn is a sophomore RTVF major from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She was born with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA), a neuromuscular disorder which confines her to a power wheelchair, but she doesn’t let that stop her. Aw, hell nah. Jackie wanted to be a part of Studio 22 ever since they helped her make “Thicker Than Water,” the 2013 New Student Grant. As script chair along with her better half, the oh-so-dope Laura McGehee, she’s ready to make every Studio 22 script as immaculate as Denzel Washington’s smile. Her favorite movie is, ironically enough, Stand By Me and her favorite tv show is Arrested Development. The Bluths actually inspired Jackie’s desire to write comedy television. Her aspirations include working in a writers’ room and being as omnipotent as Laura McGehee. Jackie feels weird talking in third person and would like to stop. Feel free to hit her up on Twitter (@llcooljackie) or email (jackiequinn@u.northwestern.edu).

Laura McGehee
Laura McGehee is an avid wolf enthusiast and an even more avid writer. Ever since her kindergarten debut “All About Me” she’s been writing stories for the people. She’s excited to be the Studio 22 Script Co-Chair but even more excited to be working with Jackie. She was told to write this bio in 400 characters but could only think of two: a somber magician and Sheryl, the directionless cat. (lauramcgehee2015@u.northwestern.edu)
