Annika Weinberg is a sophomore majoring in Radio/Television/Film and pursuing a certificate in Integrated Marketing. She is from Glencoe, IL but gladly admits that deep dish "pizza" is fake news. As co-community engagement chair, she is excited about expanding the film community to other majors and schools within the University. If you spot a person with a bubble tea in one hand and a coffee in the other fangirling over the golden retriever that just walked by, there's a 100% chance that is her. She hopes to merge her love of organization and creativity as a producer emphasizing authentic female stories in film.
Growing up in Summit, NJ, sophomore Adam Present didn’t discover his love for filmmaking until his high school friend, who had a crush on a girl taking a film class, convinced him to take it with him too. An RTVF major also studying Integrated Marketing and Communications, Adam wants to one day have a career creating narrative films, but right now is a professional at deflecting questions from adults about whether he’ll one day move to LA. As Community Engagement Co-Chair he hopes to help more students, especially those in younger classes, become involved in film production at Northwestern. Adam also competes on NU’s club water polo and swim teams and is on the board of NU World Cup. He spends his free time watching all sorts of films (his favorites are Birdman and No Country for Old Men) and playing pickup sports or Fortnite, despite being aggresively average at both.
