Second-year RTVF major and Sound Design minor by day, avid horchata enthusiast at any other point in time; Erika Rodriguez hails from the wicked streets of Cicero, IL. Being the busy bee that she is, she holds a leadership position for the Northwestern Evans Scholars and also enjoys playing/making/listening to an absurd amount of music in her spare time. While still unsure of what direction she wants to take with RTVF, her ultimate goal in life is to make people happy: whether this be by sharing the multitude of strange talents and skills she possesses, or by telling stories of strange occurrences that she records on her list of "Things That Apparently Only Happen to Erika" (like the time Chance the Rapper accidentally whacked her across the face, causing her to wipe out). Sharing a birthday with the coveted Damien Chazelle, it is all the more appropriate that her favorite film be Whiplash.
Paula is a sophomore Radio/TV/Film major from the suburbs of Philadelphia. As co-community engagement chair, she hopes to encourage more students to get involved in filmmaking on campus. She's still deciding exactly what she wants to do in the film industry (but of course she's always dreamed of being a famous director). Paula is also on the board of Challah for Hunger. In her free time, she enjoys watching cat videos, pretending to study at coffee shops, and attending events with free food.
