Discovering her passion for filmmaking at 14, Sarah has been apart of making various short films, both behind and in front of the camera. She has served as a producer, director, writer, and actress because she still doesn’t know exactly what to do with her life. As a junior at Northwestern University, Sarah pursues filmmaking through her major in Radio/Television/Film, as a producer of Northwestern’s late night comedy show, The Blackout, and as The Script Development Chair for Northwestern’s student run production company, Studio 22. In her role as Script Development Co-Chair, she hopes to help filmmakers develop their voice through their scripts, as well as encourage writers across all of Northwestern’s campus. She works to inform her projects through her double major in African American Studies. In her free time, Sarah likes to spill coffee on herself, see if she can make it to Norris in 5 minutes from anywhere in Evanston, and send emails while watching Netflix.
