John Michael Currie
While growing up in Jacksonville, Florida, John Michael Currie always wanted to be a doctor like his favorite television protagonist, John Michael "J.D." Dorian of Scrubs. Then, John Michael started his ninth grade biology class and quickly realized a medical career was not for him. John Michael returned from school that day, turned on Scrubs, and thought to himself, "maybe I could do television instead." Many years later, John Michael is now a proud member of the Class of 2018 at Northwestern, majoring in Radio/Television/Film with minors in Theatre and Business Institutions. Unlike a real doctor, John Michael believes laughter is the best medicine, so he has been thrilled to serve as an Executive Producer for Northwestern Sketch Television, a Supervising Producer at The iO Comedy Network, and a founding member of The Bix Musical Improv Troupe.
